Fire starter with tinder maker, fire steel

A firesteel also works when it rains. With the built-in file, you can make your own tinder, so wet matches and an empty lighter are no problem.

The file is made of stainless steel and shaves wood into fine, combustible shavings. The firesteel produces sparks of more than 2,900 °C.

What you get

• Firesteel with tinder maker (file)
• Good for more than 3,000 strikes
• Weight of 50 grams, length 8 cm
• In the set: tinder catch box, striker and cord

Good to know

Check if fire is allowed at your campsite or in the nature reserve, and always extinguish completely.
